Prologue

        It is night.  A female raven sits on a branch, waiting for her mate to return with food for her only chick.  But he does not come.   Worried, she shifts from side to side, listening to her chicks hungry cries.  And she is getting hungry as well.  Finally she comes to a decision.  Vowing to return, she sets off to find food, leaving her chick alone in the night.  But when she does return, she finds only an empty nest waiting.

Welcomes to Ratwing's Band.   This blog will have two parts.

1: a story blog
2: A roleplay.

For the roleplay, you can create a character to roleplay, and if you want it to be in the story YOU HAVE TO SAY SO!!!

You can create any character you want, as long as it is either a bird of prey, a crow, or a raven.  Please do not create characters that are   bald eagles, vultures, or condors, because those will be the villains of the story.  If you want your character to be a villain, it has to be a bald eagle, vulture or condor and you have to type in the code XEVILXCHARACTERX.   If you want to be in the story, type in the code XRATWINGXSTORYX.   Later on there might be other options, but try to stick with this for now.


The story is set in the Appalachian Mountains.  It is about a young raven named Ratwing who was abandoned as a chick.  He created a group of other orphaned birds of prey and they have to try to survive in the harsh mountain wilderness.  For those who are going to roleplay, good luck!
